NaNoWriMo

Hi everybody! November is National Novel Writing Month... otherwise known as NaNoWriMo!
There's 2 divisions of NaNoWriMo:
Adult (regular): http://nanowrimo.org
Youth: http://ywp.nanowrimo.org/
Check it out! It's a great way to learn discipline and stick-to-it-ivness. I'm going try out the youth NaNoWriMo this year, myself. Since I'm 17 and next year I'll be too old and I want to take advantage of the smaller word limit. :p
Has anybody else done NaNoWriMo? What did you think of the outcome of your participation?
Is anyone else going to try this year? What's your word goal?

My word goal is 6000 words. My book is about a penguin called Mr. Flippers, (we have been watching movies on penguins).
